Independence
VinoVonk is an independent wine platform. All articles, tasting notes, and recommendations are based on the personal experiences and judgements of Jeroen Vonk. No producer, importer, or other party has influence over the content of an article, unless explicitly stated.
Wines and products submitted for review are assessed in the same way as wines purchased independently. A complimentary sample does not guarantee publication, let alone a positive review.
Sponsored content
VinoVonk occasionally works with producers, importers, or other partners on paid content. Such collaborations are always clearly disclosed at the top of the relevant article, with the text "Sponsored by [name]".
Paid collaboration does not mean the content is determined by the sponsor. VinoVonk retains full editorial control at all times. If agreement on content cannot be reached, the collaboration does not proceed.
Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links to shops or platforms. If you make a purchase through such a link, VinoVonk receives a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Articles containing affiliate links carry the notice "This article contains affiliate links".
VinoVonk only links to products that are genuinely recommended. The presence of an affiliate link has no influence on the assessment.
Tasting conditions
How wines are tasted is described in the Tasting Methodology. Where relevant, the conditions under which a wine was assessed are noted in the tasting note or article.
Corrections
Errors are corrected as soon as they are discovered. Substantive corrections are noted at the bottom of the relevant article, with the date. Minor typographical errors are corrected silently.

Sources and citations
Facts and figures are accompanied by a source reference or context wherever possible. For wine regions, regulations, and appellations, official sources are used (CIVC, CIVB, WSET, EU regulations). Personal opinions are always clearly identifiable as such.
AI and tools
VinoVonk uses AI tools as a writing assistant and for research. All published text has been personally read, edited, and approved by Jeroen Vonk. AI-generated text is never published unfiltered.
